Engraving is done with a special diamond head that permanently presses the engraving into the metal. This makes it indestructible and it cannot be removed. There are no signs of abrasion here. These are only noticeable with printing processes, so engraving is clearly superior.
With this item you get your original Zippo lighter in metallic silver chrome. Depending on your choice, in brushed or polished finish. The matt brushed surface is less sensitive to dirt and fingerprints, the indestructible classic. The mirror-like, shiny surface of the polished version offers a higher contrast, which is especially important for photo engraving, but text engravings are also popular on this material.
Zippo lighters can be refilled as often as you like and with a little skill you can refill them yourself. Due to legal regulations, the lighters may not be filled, engraved or shipped. Before using the lighter for the first time, it must be refilled (can be done yourself or in most tobacconists).

Each of our products is a personalised one-of-a-kind item that only exists once in this form worldwide. In this article you have the option of engraving text on the Zippo lighter.
Names, slogans and quotations can be engraved here just as much as individual letters and words.
Basically, there is no limit to the amount of engraving or the number of characters. Just remember that a longer text must be engraved in a smaller size. The number of characters does not change the price of the product. We don't want you to have to save on the content, but are happy to realise exactly your ideas.
For long texts we recommend simple fonts and perhaps even only capital letters. This ensures that even long texts with smaller font sizes remain clearly readable.
Depending on your choice, you can specify engravings for the cover and the body of the lighter, and for the double-sided version also on the back. In addition, you will find a field for remarks in the configurator (click on "customise now") if you want to tell us about special wishes for the design.
If no details are given, our graphic designers will create the layout. At sunnyGift, every order is processed by real people, not a quick, blind, automatic standard conversion. Our graphic designers have a lot of experience with the products and engravings, and can bring your wishes to life perfectly.
On the cover you have approx. 30x17mm engraving area for your wishes. On the body it is even approx. 30x31mm. This offers plenty of space for your creative ideas. Even twice as much on both sides.
The engraving is done by machine using a diamond. This produces a bright, almost white engraving result. The diamond engraving head offers an extremely high resolution, which means that even very small details and subtleties can still be realised.
