Attention, dart players differ in 2 basic groups. The choice of the appropriate dart must therefore be made. Classic dartboards are made of sisal, a natural fibre, and need arrows with steel tips to be played. The alternative is electric dart boards or automatic machines. For these, darts wi th plastic tips are used. We can offer both in this article, you just have to make your choice to get the right product.
Some standards have become established in the sport of darts. Independent of the manufacturer, most of the individual parts of the dart can be combined and changed.
If you are not sure about the preferences and playing habits of the giftee, we recommend giving engraved flights as a gift. They are compatible with most shafts and flightholders and can be added to the player's existing equipment. As a symbol, it is of course always very nice to give the complete darts as a gift, also here the individual parts can be exchanged and combined with many other own darts components.

No matter which choice you make, the darts always consist of the 3 main components of a dart.
The barrel is the handle and is decisive whether plastic or steel tips are used.
The shaft connects the barrel to the flight and in our case is an anodised aluminium shaft which can be personalised by laser engraving.
As well as the flight, it is the wing of the arrow and ensures a long and stable flight track. It also offers 2 large surfaces that can be engraved by laser.

The total price of the product depends on the number of places to be engraved, the quantity of the letters themselves has no influence. The basic price includes the engraving on one area, i.e. flight or shaft. Additional areas can be engraved for a small contribution due to the additional work required.
The flights offer good space for engraving and can be engraved on approx . 25x12mm per side. In extreme cases, it is even possible to engrave up to 3 or 4 lines, in which case the text must be appropriately small. If you want to use this option, we recommend simple fonts and capital letters to maintain readability.
Our recommen dation is rather a short text, such as the player's name, so that it can be implemented in a nice big and legible way. Basically, we do not want to limit your creativity here.
The shaft can only be engraved with a text height of a little over 2mm due to it s slim shape. If you want a discreet, unobtrusive engraving, the shaft engraving is perfect. We strongly recommend using capital letters, a simple font and a text length of approx. 12 characters.
For all those who want to place a lot of content, we offer t he option of all 3 engraving areas, the flight on 2 sides and additionally the shaft engraving. This gives you a lot of space for your wishes and ideas.
Simple symbols can also be engraved, the heart would be the classic here. Describe your ideas as precis ely as possible in the comment field of the configurator (for example: "Name 1 (heart symbol) Name 2").
